To even consider upgrading the P-Organ, you must first find special items called Quartz throughout the city. This material is incredibly rare, found only in secret areas and hidden locations scattered throughout the massive regions of Krat. Various bosses in Lies of P are also known to drop Quartz when defeated, so explore everywhere you can to find optional fights that may yield more of the item.
How To Improve The P-Organ in Lies of P
To get better upgrades and improve the P-Organ, you have to spend Quartz to unlock two complete nodes in one skill Phase, which opens up the next path to better enhancements. A node activates once you spend two Quartz on each of its two slots, picking two minor upgrades divided into several categories. The four types of slot upgrades range from basic Attack abilities to traits tied to your character’s Survival.
You must carefully choose which minor upgrades to apply to slots to unlock the node you want within a specific Phase. Only when two nodes have been completed, or four slots have been picked, will the P-Organ be improved to its next Phase section in Lies of P. Once you reach a new Phase, you will have to repeat the process to get to the next section, a pattern that repeats for the rest of the tree.
Thankfully, if you feel like you’ve made a mistake somewhere along the way within the P-Organ, you can reset all your upgrades and regain your spent Quartz. While doing this will cost Gold Coin Fruit in Lies of P, the chance to return with hindsight and re-assign improvements could make harder fights slightly easier. The Fruits needed for this reset spawn every 10 minutes from a tree found in Hotel Krat.
As you learn to upgrade the P-Organ, you should consider advantages that fit best with how you play, which may depend on what weapon Pinocchio wields or Legion Arm you have equipped. Eventually, these P-organ upgrades will enable you to face Lies of P‘s final boss with better buffs and skills.

- Following in the footsteps of games similar to Bloodborne, Lies of P is an action-RPG adventure game with heavy Souls-like influences. Loosely based on the tale of Pinocchio, Lies of P throws players into the shoes of the reimagined wooden boy as a puppet mechanoid as he wakes up in a city devoid of life. Pinocchio has only one clue as to what’s happening to him; a single note telling him to find Mr. Gepetto. Players will battle through the city of Krat free of humans as they struggle against other mechanical and hellish monsters that await them at every turn. To face these threats, players can craft various weapons using devices found throughout the city and gain new attachments to improve traversal. The ending can be significantly affected depending on the player’s narrative and action-based choices. Lies of P will be released on current and next-gen consoles and PC sometime in 2023.
